William Augustus Sackett, son of Nicholas Fish Sackett and Delia ___, was born in Honesdale, Wayne County, PennsylvaniaG, in about 1848.1 He died aged 55 in Brooklyn, New York CityG, on 6 May 1904.2
     In 1850 William was living in Honesdale, Wayne County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his father Nicholas, and was recorded in the census as Wm A Sacket, aged two and born in Pennsylvania.3
     In 1860 he was living in Damascus, Wayne CountyG, in the household of his father Nicholas and stepmother Mary, and was recorded as Augustus Sackett, aged 14.4
