George Woodruff Sackett, son of George A Sacket and Harriet Woodruff, was born in IllinoisG in 1866.1,2 He died in 1895.1 He married in Maquoketa, Jackson County, IowaG, on 11 September 1890, Beldena M "Belle" Wilbur, daughter of Thomas Wilbur and Ann Belden.1,3 Beldena was born in MaquoketaG in about 1868.4
     In 1870 George was living in Geneva, Kane County, IllinoisG, in the household of his parents George and Harriet, and was recorded in the census as George W Sackett, aged three and born in Illinois.5
     In 1880 he was living in GenevaG in the household of his parents George and Harriet, and was recorded as George W Sackett, aged 13.6
