Leah Brill, daughter of William Henry Brill and Laura Ellen Sackett, was born in Harmony, Clay County, IndianaG, on 6 July 1893.1 She died aged 78 in Doña Ana County, New MexicoG, on 9 September 19712 and was buried at Cottage Hill Cemetery, Brazil, Clay County, IndianaG.3,4 She married first in Clay County, IndianaG, on 7 December 1907, Edward Dally, a blacksmith, son of Joseph B Dally and Mary Robbins.5 Edward was born in Knightsville, Clay County, IndianaG, on 2 May 18846 and died aged 28 on 10 March 1913.7 She married second in Sullivan County, IndianaG, on 15 June 1922, John Bernard Feiler, a salesman, son of John B Feiler and Mary Filver.8 John was born in Terre Haute, Vigo County, IndianaG, on 3 September 1884.6 They divorced in Wayne County, MichiganG, on 1 February 1926.9 She married third in IllinoisG on 15 July 1937, James Joseph Palace.10 James was born in Santiago, CubaG, on 22 August 1895.11 They divorced in Wayne County, MichiganG, on 28 September 1944.12 James died aged 91 in MichiganG in April 1987.11
     In 1900 Leah was living at Jackson Street, Brazil, Clay County, IndianaG, in the household of her parents William and Laura, and was recorded in the census as Leah Brill, aged six and born in Indiana.13
     In 1910 she was living in Brazil, Clay County, IndianaG, in the household of her husband Edward, 26, a blacksmith, and was recorded as Leah Dally, aged 19. Living with them was their son Morris, aged one.14 Leah was also enumerated in the 1910 census in the household of her parents William and Laura, listed as Leah Brill, aged 18 (but see note.)15

If correct, she was aged 14 at first marriage in Dec 1907, although she certified that she was 17, born on 6 Jul 1890, and gave her age as 18 at the birth of her son Morris in Aug 1908. On her second marriage license in 1922 she gave her birth date as 6 Jul 1889.
