George Wallace Syers, son of David Alexander Syers and Louisa Sackett, was born in Medina County, OhioG, on 3 March 1846.1 He died aged 67 in Byron Center, Kent County, MichiganG, on 28 March 1913 and was buried at Jamestown Cemetery, Ottawa County, MichiganG.1
In 1850 George was living in Clarksfield, Huron County, OhioG, in the household of his parents Alexander and Louisa, and was recorded in the census as George Syres, aged five and born in Ohio.2
In 1860 he was living at Jamestown, Ottawa County, MichiganG, in the household of his parents Alexander and Louisa, and was recorded as Wallace Sayers, aged 14.3
