Reginald Lamphear Sackett, dance band leader, son of Jasper Lorenzo Sackett and Flora Minerva Lamphear, was born in Glens Falls, Warren County, New York StateG, on 19 May 1901.1 He died aged 63 in Melrose, Middlesex County, MassachusettsG, on 24 May 19642,3,4 and was buried at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, Middlesex CountyG.5 He married Doris Estes, daughter of Ivory Percy Estes and May F Barnes. Doris was born in Cambridge, Middlesex County, MassachusettsG, in about 1907.6 After Reginald's death, Doris married second Roland A Kenyon. She died aged 80 in Amherst, Hampshire County, MassachusettsG, on 5 March 1988 and was buried at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham, Middlesex County, MassachusettsG.7
     In 1910 Reginald was living at Lebanon Street, Melrose, Middlesex County, MassachusettsG, in the household of his parents Jasper and Flora, and was recorded in the census as Reginald L Sackett, aged eight and born in New York.8
     In 1920 he was living at Cass Street, MelroseG, in the household of his brother Raymond, and was recorded as Reginald L Sackett, aged 18.9 He was listed in the 1920 Melrose City Directory as a student. He was a bank clerk in 1922.10 From 1926 he was listed as a musician.11
     In 1930 he was living at Upham Street, MelroseG, in the household of his widowed mother Flora, and was recorded as Reginald L Sackett, a clerk, aged 28, unmarried.12
     In 1940 Reginald was a musician and proprietor of a public hall in MelroseG.6 From 1954 to 1960 Reginald was listed working for Friend Bros Inc, a bakery in Malden. He was living at 49 Upham Street, MelroseG.13
     Reginald was a member of the Wyoming Lodge of Freemasons, Massachusetts, from 1956 until his death in 1964.14
