Charles Grant Sackett, son of Philetus Sackett and Susan Anna Owens, was born in Hanover, Jackson County, MichiganG, on 4 October 1873.1
     In 1910 Charles was living in Napoleon, Jackson County, MichiganG, and was recorded in the census as Charles Sacket, a farm laborer, aged 37, single. Charles and his brother James, 27, were hired men on the farm of Fred Long.2
