Edwin Nagare/Nagrave Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett and Philena E Root, was born in Norfolk, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG, on 10 September 1847.1,2 He died aged 21 in Bethany, New Haven County, ConnecticutG, in August 1869 as the result of an accident. He was a brakeman on the railroad and was run over by a railroad car.3
     In 1850 Edwin was living in Norfolk, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG, in the household of his parents Joseph and Philena, and was recorded in the census as Nazare Sacket, aged two and born in Connecticut.4
