Howard Clarence Sackett, son of Clarence Alden Sackett and Louise Mary Tritten, was born in Scotch Grove, Jones County, IowaG, on 6 January 1911.1,2,3 He died aged 58 in IowaG in 1969.2 He married in Osage, Mitchell County, IowaG, on 2 March 1935, Ethelyn Corwin, daughter of Israel H Corwin and Ethel Wilcox.4 Ethelyn was born in Finchford, Black Hawk County, IowaG, on 30 July 19085,3 and died aged 97 in Black Hawk CountyG on 16 October 2005.5
In 1930 Howard was living at Englewood Avenue, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, IowaG, in the household of his parents Clarence and Louise, and was recorded in the census as Howard C Sackett, a truck driver for a fuel company, aged 19 and born in Iowa.6
