George Arthur Haw, known as Arthur, son of Thomas Haw and Mary Emma Jane Sackett, was born in Fenelon Falls, Victoria County, Ontario, CanadaG, on 23 December 1879.1,2 He died aged about 69 in 1949 and was buried at Park Lawn Cemetery, TorontoG.2 He married in Toronto, York County, OntarioG, on 3 May 1900, Annie Louisa Howell, daughter of David George Howell and Sarah Elizabeth Ranklin.3 Annie was born in St Thomas, Elgin County, OntarioG, on 10 October 1880.1,2 She died aged about 58 in 1939 and was buried at Park Lawn Cemetery, TorontoG.2
     In 1891 Arthur was living in TorontoG in the household of his parents Thomas and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Arthur Haw, aged eleven.4
