Emma Sackett, daughter of Robert Sackett and Frances Young, was born in Thanet, KentG, in 18411 and baptized at St John in ThanetG on 20 June 1841.2 She married in St Peter's Church, Islington, MiddlesexG, on 10 February 1862, Frank M Wrightson, a miller.3,4 He was born in Minster, KentG, in 1833 or 1834.5
     In 1841 Emma was living at 24 Zion Place, Margate, KentG, in the household of her parents Robert and Frances, and was recorded in the census as Emma Sackett, an infant, born in Kent.6
     In 1851 she was living at 5 York St (Bartholemew Terrace), City Road, St Pancras, MiddlesexG, and was recorded as Emma Sackett, aged ten and born in Margate, Kent, the daughter of Robert Sackett.7
     In 1861 she was living at 5 Bartholemew Terrace, St Luke's, Finsbury, London EC, MiddlesexG, in the household of her father Robert Sackett, a butcher, and was recorded as Emma Sackett, aged 19, and born in Margate.8
     In 1871 she was living at Mill House, 7 Elgar Road, Margate, KentG, in the household of her husband Frank M Wrightson, a miller, and was recorded as Emma Wrightson, aged 29, and born in Margate. Living with Frank and Emma were their children, Minnie (5), Fanny (4), James (2), and Frances (7 months). Also in the household were Frank's nephew Ernest Wrightson (2), Emma's brother Edwin R Sackett (27), a butcher, Frank's aunt Emma Allen (55), and a 15-year-old female servant, Ester Pointer.9
     In 1881 she was living at 11 Ingestre Place, London, MiddlesexG, in the household of her husband Frank "Worghtson", a potato dealer, and was recorded as Emma Worghtson, aged 39, and born in Margate. Living with Frank and Emma were their children, Minnie (15), Fanny (14), James (12), Frederick (6), and Leonard (3 months). Emma's widowed mother Frances Sackett, aged 71, was a visitor in the household.5
