Lucretia Sackett, daughter of Solomon Sackett and Miriam Davis, was born in Sandisfield, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, on 11 November 1802.1,2 She died aged about 77 in Harmony, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, in 1880 and was buried at Wild Rose Cemetery, North HarmonyG.3 She married in Norfolk, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG, on 1 May 1828, Edwin Gleason, son of Rufus Gleason and Mirriam Granger.4,5 Edwin was born in Litchfield, Litchfield CountyG, on 31 August 1803.5 He died aged 60 on 21 July 18645 and was buried at Wild Rose Cemetery, North HarmonyG.
     Edwin and Lucretia removed to Harmony, New York StateG, shortly after their marriage in 1828.
     In 1850 Lucretia was living in HarmonyG in the household of her husband Edwin Gleason, 47, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Lucretia Gleason, aged 47. Living with them were their children, Mark, 21, Emily, 19, Henry, 14, and Edwin, aged eight.6
     In 1855 she was living in HarmonyG in the household of her husband Edwin Gleason, 51, a farmer, and was recorded as Lucretia Gleason, aged 52. Their children, Henry, 18, and Edwin, 14, were living with them. Also in the household were their daughter Emily, 24, with her husband John Lovejoy, 26, and Lucretia's brother Enos Sacket, 56.7
     In 1860 she was living in HarmonyG in the household of her husband Edwin Gleason, 56, a farmer, and was recorded as Lucretia Gleason, aged 57. Also in the household were their children, Mark, 31 (with his wife Isme), Henry, 23 (with his wife Matilda and their children), and Edwin B, 18, and Lucretia's brother Enos Sackett, 61.8
     In 1865 she was living in HarmonyG in the household of her son Mark and daughter-in-law Isme, and was recorded as Lucretia Gleason, aged 62.9
     In 1870 she was living in HarmonyG in the household of her son Mark and daughter-in-law Isme, and was recorded as Lucretia Gleason, aged 67.10
     In 1880 she was living in HarmonyG in the household of her son Edwin, 39, and was recorded as Lucretia Gleason, a widow, aged 77. Her granddaughter Mary Gleason, 22, was also in the household.11
