George A Sackett, shoemaker, son of Noble Sackett and Rooxbe Jacobs, was born in Barnstead, Belknap County, New Hampshire^G, on 23 September 1861.^2,3 He married on 4 July 1883, Alice R Huckins, daughter of Andrew Huckins and Maria J Chamberlain.² Alice was born in Alton, New Hampshire^G, on 30 January 1862.²
