Dora Mandana Sackett, daughter of Charles Henry Sackett and Ruth Ellen Booth, was born at White Lake, Aurora County, South DakotaG, on 22 July 1893.1 She died aged 90 in Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG, on 2 August 1983.2,3 She married first at White Lake, Aurora County, South DakotaG, on 28 November 1918, Harry Sherwood Hitchcock, son of William Alfred Hitchcock and Anna Sophia Cowles.4 Harry was born in Mount Pleasant, Henry County, IowaG, on 27 July 1879.5,6 He died aged 66 in Davison County, South DakotaG, on 1 January 1946 and was buried at Graceland Cemetery, Mitchell, Davison CountyG.6 She married second in Broadus, Powder River County, MontanaG, on 13 February 1946, Clarence Lester Beddoe, son of Sam Beddoe and Nellie Nelson.7 Clarence was born in Centerville, Turner County, South DakotaG, on 1 May 1902.5,8,9 He died aged 49 at the Veterans' Hospital, Hot Springs, Fall River County, South DakotaG, on 16 February 1952.9
     In 1900 Dora was living at White LakeG in the household of her parents Charles and Ruth, and was recorded in the census as Dora M Sackett, aged six and born in South Dakota.10
     In 1910 she was living at White LakeG in the household of her parents Charles and Ruth, and was recorded as Dora D Sackett, aged 16.11
     In 1930 she was living in Buffalo, Jones County, South DakotaG, in the household of her husband Harry S Hitchcock, 50, a farmer, and was recorded as Dora M Hitchcock, aged 37. They rented their home. Living with them were their children, Ruth, 10, Esther, 9, Hazel, 6, and Doris, aged four. There was also a female lodger in the household.12

Clarence Beddoe Dies Saturday
Clarence Beddoe, 50, who for several years has played the part of Jack McCall in "The Trial Of Jack McCall" at Deadwood, died early Saturday morning at the Veterans' Hospital at Hot Springs.
     He was taken to the hospital the early part of last week after suffering an attack and died Saturday shortly after 6 a.m.
     He was born May 1, 1902 in Centerville, S. D., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Beddoe and worked on railroads for many years.
     He is survived by his wife and one sister, Mrs. Grace Thompson, Hurley.
     Funeral rites will be held Tuesday from the Wells Funeral Home with the time to he announced later.
