Lylie Gertrude Elizabeth Sackett, daughter of James Thomas Sackett and Amelia Jane Bellchamber, was born in Portsea, HampshireG, in 18941 and baptized at Westbourne, SussexG, on 3 February 1897.2 She married in Portsmouth, HampshireG, in 1916, Frank W Jerome.3,4
     In 1901 Lylie was living at 96 Kingston Road, Portsmouth, HampshireG, in the household of her parents James and Amelia (Angelina in the census), and was recorded in the census as Lylie Sackett, aged seven and born in Portsmouth, Hampshire.5
