George Washington Beers, son of John Edwin Beers and Abigail Stow Potter, was born in New York StateG on 16 August 1851.1 He died aged 40 in Elizabeth, Union County, New JerseyG, on 12 August 18921 and was buried at Rocky Hill Cemetery, Somerset County, New JerseyG, on 15 August 1892.2 He married in Somerset County, New JerseyG, on 7 March 1872, Caroline E "Carrie" Stults, daughter of Henry C Stults and Frances Reed.1 Carrie was born near Kingston, South Brunswick Township, Middlesex County, New JerseyG, on 17 May 1855.1 She died at 7485 Amboy Road, Tottenville, Richmond County, New York StateG, on 28 September 19271 and was buried at Rocky Hill CemeteryG on 1 October 1927.1
