Coridon Ralph Sackett, son of Ezra Sackett and Sarah "Sally" Hurd, was born in Sandisfield, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, on 9 August 1824.1 He died aged 91 on 6 January 1916 and was buried at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria, OhioG.2 He married in about 1859, Camelia Maria Vrooman, daughter of John Vrooman and Maria Peake.3 Camelia was born in Oswego, New York StateG, on 16 July 1826.4 She died aged 87 at 712 North Main Street, FostoriaG, on 12 August 19135 and was buried at Fountain CemeteryG.2
     In 1870 Coridon was living in Jackson, Seneca County, OhioG, and was recorded in the census as Corodon R Sackett, a farmer, aged 46, farmer. Living with him were his wife Camelia, 43, and their children, Emerson, 8, Clara, 4, and Bertha, aged eight months.6
     In 1880 he was living in Fostoria, Seneca CountyG, and was recorded as Cordon R Sackett, a farmer, aged 54. Living with him were his wife Camelia, 53, and their children, Emerson, 17, and Bertha, aged ten. There was also a female servant in the household.7
     In 1900 he was living at North Main Street, FostoriaG, and was recorded as Cordon R Sacket, a farmer, head of household, aged 75. He owned his home free of mortgage. Living with him were his wife Camelia, 73, and their children, Emerson, 37, and Bertha, 28.8
