Mabel Sackett, daughter of Seymour Austin Sackett and Hannah Louisa Sibley, was born in MassachusettsG in about December 1869.
     In 1870 Mabel was living at Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in the household of her parents Seymour & Hannah, and was recorded in the census as Mabel Sackett, aged six months, at home, and born in Massachusetts.1
     In 1880 she was living at Springfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, and was recorded as Mabel Sackett, a ward, aged ten, and born in Massachusetts. Also in the orphanage were her sisters Kittie, Maude, and Mary.2
