Andrew "Andy" Sackett, son of Samuel Sackett and Julia Ann Heath, was born in Blue Creek Township, Adams County, IndianaG, on 27 August 1849.1,2 He died aged 91 in Butler County, MissouriG, on 7 January 1941 and was buried at Lone Hill Cemetery, Butler CountyG.3,4 He married first in Adams CountyG on 20 August 1868, Nancy Phoebe Roebuck.5,6 He married second in Blackford County, IndianaG, on 29 May 1873, Maria Beeman.7,8,9 He married third in Poplar Bluff, Butler CountyG, on 4 March 1894, Mary Ray.10,11 Mary was born in MissouriG in May 1881.12
     In 1850 Andrew was living at Blue Creek, Adams County, IndianaG, in the household of his parents Samuel and Julia, and was recorded in the census as Andrew Sacket, aged one and born in Indiana.13
     In 1860 he was living at Blue CreekG in the household of his widowed mother Julia, and was recorded as Andrew Sackett, aged ten.14
     In 1900 he was living in Williams, Wayne County, MissouriG, and was recorded as A Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 49. Living with him were his third wife, Mary, 19, and his son Ralph, aged 16. According to this record, Mary was born in May 1881, meaning that she had married at age 12. Her age at marriage had been declared to be 18+.15
     In 1920 Andrew was living at Lexington Avenue, Poplar Bluff, Butler County, MissouriG, and was recorded in the census as ___ Sacket, a laborer in a lumber mill, head of household, a widower, aged 50. Living with him were his children, Lilly, 16, and Lena, aged 14. (The unnamed Sacket is assumed to be Andrew based on the children relationships although he would have been aged 70 at this date.)16
     In 1930 he was living at County Road, Poplar Bluff, Butler County, MissouriG, in the household of his daughter Lilly and son-in-law Charles Franklin, and was recorded as Andy Sacket, aged 84, a widower.17
     In 1940 he was living at Beaver Dam, Butler County, MissouriG, in the household of his daughter Lillie and son-in-law Charles Franklin, and was recorded as Andrew Sackett, aged 90.18
