Minerva Sackett, daughter of Captain Isaac Sackett and Betsey ___, was born in Stanford, Dutchess County, New York StateG, on 11 January 1813.1 She married in Amenia, Dutchess CountyG, on 21 January 1830, Colvill Case.1,2 Colvill was born in about 1805.3
     In 1850 Minerva was living in Chenango, Broome County, New York StateG, in the household of her husband Covil Case, 44, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Minerva Case, aged 37 and born in New York. Living with them were their children, Girard, 16, George, 14, Elizabeth, 12, and Sacket, aged seven.4
