Charles Adams Sackett, son of Adnah Sackett and Eliza Hubbard Adams, was born on 5 February 1843.1 He died aged 68 in New London, ConnecticutG, on 24 November 1911 and was buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery, New LondonG.2 He married in New York CityG on 18 January 1882, Mary Alice Townsend.1

Charles Adams Sackett, 1843–, son of (1281) Adnah Sackett and Eliza Hubbard Adams, was married, in New York City, January 18, 1882, to Mary Alice Townsend, 1856–, daughter of Isaac Townsend and Mary Austen. Prepared for college at Phillips Exeter Academy, but in consequence of the war gave up entering, and in 1864 removed from Providence, R. I., to New York City, which has since been his home; he was there engaged in mercantile affairs until 1882, when he retired from active business. He has been a member of the Union Club of New York City since 1872, and has a summer residence at the seaside in New London, Conn.
