Dulcie Ellen Sackett, daughter of George William Sackett and Daisy Catherine Sarah Maytum, was born in Birchington, KentG, on 12 November 19061,2 and baptized at All Saints, BirchingtonG, on 30 December 1906.1 She died aged 42 in Canterbury, KentG, in 1949.3 She married first in Kensington, LondonG, on 28 January 1928, Arthur James Pillow, son of Arthur James Pillow.4,5,6 Arthur was born in Blean, KentG, in 1906.7 He died aged about 24 by drowning at Aboukir, EgyptG, on 4 August 19304 and was buried at Alexandria, EgyptG.4 Dulcie married second in Faversham, KentG, in 1937, Robert G Proctor.8,9
     In 1911 Dulcie was living at 12 York Terrace, BirchingtonG, in the household of her parents George and Daisy, and was recorded in the census as Dulcie Sackett, aged four and born in Birchington.10
     In 1921 she was living at 6 St Edmunds Road, CanterburyG, in the household of her mother Daisy and stepfather Baron Mackenzie, and was recorded as Dulcie Helen Sackett, aged 14.11
