Albina Frances Jenkins Sackett, daughter of Frances Sarah "Fanny" Sackett, was born in Ramsgate, KentG, in 18901 and baptized at St Paul's Church, RamsgateG, on 18 June 1890.2 She married in Wandsworth, LondonG, in 1916, James Barnes.3,4
     In 1891 Albina was living at 7 Turner Street, Ramsgate, KentG, in the household of her grandmother Sarah and Sarah's second husband James Hunter, and was recorded in the census as Albina F Sackett, aged four months and born in Ramsgate. She was living with her mother Frances.5
     In 1911 she was living at 6 Belmont Street, RamsgateG, and was recorded as Albina Sackett, a barmaid, single, aged 20. She was living with her mother Frances in the household of her step-grandfather James Hunter. Her son Maurice Sackett, aged eight months, was living with her.6
     In 1921 she was living at 226 Seely Road, Mitcham, SurreyG, in the household of her husband James Barnes, 37, a paper merchant's representative, and was recorded as Albina Frances Barnes, aged 30. Living with them were their son Denys Barnes, aged one, and Albina's son Maurice, aged ten.7
