Barbara Ann Sackett, daughter of Arthur Digerson Sackett and Olive Mary Slocombe, was born in Thanet, KentG, on 8 July 1934.1,2 She died aged 60 in Basford, NottinghamshireG, in March 1995.3 She married in ThanetG in 1956, Brian C Biddulph.4
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Barbara was a schoolgirl, living at 62 Manston Road, RamsgateG, with her parents Arthur and Olive.5
