George Edward Sackett Yeomanson, carpenter, son of George Yeomanson and Emily Jane Sackett, was born in Margate, KentG, in 1875.1,2 He died aged 76 in Thanet, KentG, in 1952.3 He married at St John in Thanet, KentG, on 15 May 1897, Elizabeth Mary Ann Scott.4
     In 1881 George was living at 2 Good Intent Cottage, St John's, Margate, KentG, in the household of his parents George and Emily, and was recorded in the census as George E S Yeomanson, aged six and born in Margate.5
