Elsie Lilian Baylis, daughter of James Baylis and Blanche Edith Sackett, was born in Croydon, SurreyG, on 11 August 19071 and died aged 94 in Bromley, KentG, on 23 November 2001.2 She married in EssexG in 1939, Cedric E Stille.3,4
     In 1911 Elsie was living at 4 Ye Market, Selsdon Road, South Croydon, SurreyG, in the household of her parents James and Blanche, and was recorded in the census as Elsie Lilian Baylis, aged three and born in Croydon.5
