Elizabeth "Betsey" Sackett, daughter of Deacon Salmon Sackett and Mercy Matilda Curtis, was born in Warren, ConnecticutG, on 24 April 1800.1,2,3 She died aged 66 on 6 October 1866 and was buried at Mission Creek Cemetery, Wabaunsee County, KansasG.4 She married as his second wife in Portage County, OhioG, on 12 February 1828, Deacon William K Beach, son of Luman Beach and Lydia M Wright.2,5,6 William was born in ConnecticutG in 17986 and died aged 74 in Chatham, Medina County, OhioG, on 21 November 1872.6
     In 1850 Elizabeth was living in Wadsworth, Medina County, OhioG, in the household of her husband, William, 52, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Elizabeth Beach, aged 50 and born in Connecticut. Living with them were Elizabeth's niece Harriet Sackett, 24, and Erastus Beach, 26, presumably William's son from his first marriage.7
