Asaph Dewey Jr, farmer, son of Asaph Dewey and Penelope Sacket, was born in Richmond, Berkshire County, Massachusetts^G, on 9 March 1787.^1,2 He died aged 57 in Lenox, Berkshire County^G, on 11 February 1845.^1,2 He married at Pittsfield, Berkshire County^G, on 28 September 1808, Sidney Howland, daughter of Joseph Howland and Lois Hamlin.^1,2 Sidney was born on 30 August 1788² and died aged 84 on 18 April 1873.²
