Isaac Sackett Jr, son of Isaac Sackett and Mercy Mansfield, was born in Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG, on 21 July 1837.1,2 He died aged 25 in Fairfax, VirginiaG, on 29 June 1863.1,3
     In 1850 Isaac was living in Orwell, Ashtabula CountyG, in the household of his parents Isaac and Mercy, and was recorded in the census as Isaac Sacket, aged 13 and born in Pennsylvania.4
     Isaac served as a private soldier in Company B of the 2nd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment during the American Civil War. He died in the service.3
