The xxxi th day of August 1671
I Paul Sackett of Little Buckland in the County of Kent yeom. Doe declare these p’sent my last will & testament in manner & forme following That is to say whereas my earnest desire so that whatsover debts I owe be duely and swiftly paid I devise all my Lands Tenemts and Hereditaments whatsoever to Richard Read Esq and his heires to be by him & them sold for and towards the payment of my debts And I also make the Said Richard Read my sole executor and doe give and bequeath unto him all my Corne Cattell householdstuff Chattells and personall Estate whatsoever for & towards payment & satisfacon of all my debts And what Summe or Summes of money shall remaine after my debts paid and satisfied I give and bequeath to my Loving wife Ann and to and amongst every of my Children to bee parted and divided amongst them share parte and porcon alike In witness whereof I have hereonto sett my hand & Seale the day & year above written
