6788. William Aaron Sackett, M. D., 1860, of Akron, Ohio, son of (3893) William C. Sackett and Harriet Galbraith, was born in Copley, Ohio, where he attended school and worked on his father's farm until he entered Akron High School, from which he graduated in 1885, and then entered Oberlin College, graduating in 1890. Taking up the study of medicine he received his degree of M. D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1893, and located in Akron, Ohio, where he built up a lucrative practice, at which he was actively engaged in 1907.
