Dr. Harry R. Sackett, Former Unit President
Dr. Harry R. Sackett, 93, former president of the Southern Medical Homeopathic Association, died Thursday.
Dr. Sackett was born in Springfield, Mass., graduated from the New York Medical School and came to St. Petersburg 43 years ago from Holyoke, Mass.
He was a member of the Congregational Church, a life member of the Masonic Lodge, Holyoke, and member of the Egypt Temple Shrine, Tampa.
Surviving is his widow, Eva S.; two sons. Dr. George Sackett, Cleveland and Prof. Frederick Sackett, Puerto Rico; a stepson, Hayden Smith, Alabama; five grandsons and three great-grandsons.
Barnes and Yopp Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements."
